    Pyjama night

    The wetlands of the Ebro Delta are home to large colonies of flamingos. So spotting flamingos often tops the wishlist of people that visit the area for birding. On the picture you can see the Fat Flamingo, phoenicopterus fatuosis. A very rare specimen of which, despite its size, little is known. Sadly, humanity is still in the dark when it comes to this species.  And that is literally where we will have to be in order to learn more about it.     Fernando, our Christmas tree

    It has been a while since it was Christmas, but we still had a Christmas tree in our apartment. We had it there from a few days before Christmas until the end of January. After that we went to Poland to visit family. So Fernando, the name Maja has given to the tree, stood on our balcony. Waiting for us to return, so that it would be planted in the ground.     We have bought a Spanish coche!

    Breaking news! We have bought a Spanish car! During the last few months we were lucky enough to be able to borrow a car, but that time is over. So recently we have been visiting several cardealers in the region. The only thing we knew about cars is that they can get you from A to B. So we had some help from our parents and a family friend. Which turned out to be very useful. Because when you are searching for a car with a budget as low as ours, there are a lot more bad than good cars.     Hey all!! As some of you may know, we are Maja & Hilbert (Hipcio for our Polish friends). A while ago we decided to move to the country of great food, amazing architecture, stunning nature, ancient history and a really nice climate; España!
