    The coronavirus lockdown in Spain

Since March the coronavirus hit Spain hard. Spain is actually one of the worst hit countries in the world. At the height of the crisis Spanish TV was showing hospitals completely overrun by patients, with people on chairs in corridors and even laying on the floor. Currently Spain has 222.857 confirmed cases (Spanish). The only country with more confirmed cases is the USA. However, because of Spain’s lower population, the amount of confirmed cases per 1.000.000 inhabitants is much higher compared to the USA. Storm Gloria’s aftermath

Last week a heavy storm wreaked havoc in Spain. The storm, named Gloria, made headlines all over Europe. It seems the storm was strongest in the regions of Alicante, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. But also in our region we experienced 4 days of really bad weather. The longest since we moved here. Anyway, we decided to continue with a company that had time and wasn’t too…

We have bought a Spanish coche!

Breaking news! We have bought a Spanish car! During the last few months we were lucky enough to be able to borrow a car, but that time is over. So recently we have been visiting several cardealers in the region. The only thing we knew about cars is that they can get you from A to B. So we had some help from our parents and a family friend. Which turned out to be very useful. Because when you are searching for a car with a budget as low as ours, there are a lot more bad than good cars. Our new car is an old piece of German engineering.…
